Top IT Companies In Lviv For 2026

Choosing an IT company in Lviv usually starts with a short list of the same famous names, but the city’s real depth sits one layer down. Western Ukraine’s largest tech hub is home to dozens of mid-sized, founder-led software firms that grew up in Lviv, still run their engineering from local offices, and sell to clients in North America, the UK and the EU.

This guide focuses on those Lviv-rooted teams rather than the household names. Every firm below shows a Lviv headquarters or development office on its own website, and the details on founding dates, team sizes, certifications and clients come from those sites. Where a company does not publish a number, we say so rather than guess.

If you are comparing Lviv IT companies with vendors elsewhere in the country, our wider list of software development companies in Ukraine is a good starting point, and our guide to IT companies in Kyiv covers the capital. Buyers who only need to add engineers to an existing team, rather than hand over a whole project, may also want to look at IT outstaffing companies in Ukraine.

Lviv has a few practical advantages for buyers. The city has a deep pool of engineers trained at local universities, a time zone that overlaps comfortably with European working hours and partly with the US East Coast, and a large number of firms that already run offices in Poland or the Baltics. When you evaluate a software development company in Lviv, it pays to look past the logo wall and ask how the team is structured, where it sits and how long its engineers tend to stay.

The firms here range from Microsoft-focused .NET shops and fintech specialists to an open networking engineering house that contributes to SONiC. Read each entry for what the company actually does well, then use the caution at the end of each profile as a question for your first call.

1. Leobit

Leobit was founded in Lviv in 2014 and still runs its main engineering center on Stryiska Street, with a representative office in Austin and smaller sites in Krakow, Tallinn and London. The company says it has more than 200 engineers, architects, testers and project managers, and it built its reputation on Microsoft technology, citing over 100 .NET projects and 78 Microsoft-certified professionals.

What sets Leobit apart is how formally it documents its quality and security practice. It holds ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 27001:2022 certification, is a Microsoft Solutions Partner and an ISTQB Platinum Partner, and describes itself as AI-first, with an internal corporate LLM and more than 25 internal AI agents supporting delivery. Named work on its site includes EZY Gaming, Realized, Atelier and American Financial Resources, and it reports nine client exits and three clients that grew into unicorns.

A fair question to ask: how much of the AI tooling it uses internally will touch your code and data, and can you opt out if your security policy requires it?

2. Blackthorn Vision

Blackthorn Vision started in Lviv in 2009 and lists its Lviv office on Kulparkivska Street first, ahead of offices in Warsaw and Wroclaw. It describes itself as an AI-enabled product engineering partner built on deep Microsoft expertise, working mainly in healthcare, fintech, energy and B2B software.

The firm’s strongest selling point is client longevity. It reports more than 150 long-term projects over 16 years with an average engagement of more than five years, which is unusual for a company of its size. It is a Microsoft Solution Partner and ISO 27001 certified, and the site names clients including Sensia (digital oilfield solutions), Selux Diagnostics, ANC and the automation platform unSkript. Services cover .NET, Java and JavaScript web work, Azure and AWS cloud, mobile, QA, computer vision and app modernization.

Blackthorn Vision does not publish a headcount. If you need a large team fast, ask how many engineers are available on the bench now and how quickly they can staff a second squad.

3. Euristiq

Euristiq lists its Ukrainian engineering office on Uhorska Street in Lviv alongside offices in Toronto and Warsaw. The company says it has more than 100 specialists, 61% of them senior developers, and describes a decade of work on custom software, cloud transformation, SaaS and ERP platforms, legacy modernization and IoT.

The client list is the headline here: Euristiq names Ryanair, Norton (Gen Digital), Philips, Octopus Investments, Corpay and York University among its customers. It is an AWS Advanced Tier Services Partner, holds ISO 27001:2022 certification, and reports 347 delivered projects and a 10 out of 10 NPS score. For buyers moving an aging system to AWS, that combination of partner status and modernization work is a good fit.

Its site does not state a founding year. Ask which of the named enterprise clients were served from the Lviv team specifically, and who from that team would lead your engagement.

4. Kindgeek

Kindgeek was founded in Lviv in 2015 by Yuriy Gnatyuk and Anton Skrypnyk, and it still names Lviv as its primary office, with a second office in London. The company reports 213 employees and has narrowed its focus almost entirely to financial technology.

That specialization shows in its credentials. Kindgeek lists ISO 27001 and ISO 9001:2015 certification, PCI DSS and GDPR compliance, and says it has delivered more than 100 regulated projects that have processed over 10 billion euros. It offers white-label platforms for neobanks, payments, core banking, lending and crypto, as well as dedicated fintech teams. Named clients include Decta, payabl., Jaja Finance and Tradeshift.

Because Kindgeek offers white-label platforms, ask early whether your product will be built on its existing codebase, and what licensing terms apply to that code if you later bring development in-house.

5. Teamvoy

Teamvoy is headquartered on Akademika Bohomoltsya Street in Lviv and keeps a US address in Covina, California. It has been operating for more than a decade and says it has over 70 people, 150-plus completed projects and more than 50 client relationships. Leadership includes CEO Taras Voytovych and CTO Bohdan Varshchuk.

Teamvoy pitches itself on work other vendors turn down: rescue projects, inherited codebases and systems in regulated industries that cannot fail. Its compliance list is long for a firm of its size, covering ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI DSS, HIPAA and GDPR, with stated experience around DORA, PSD2, BaFin, FCA and NHS Digital requirements. Named clients include Nasdaq, OSL, Panasonic Avionics and Iress.

With a team of around 70, a rescue engagement can absorb a large share of senior capacity. Ask who exactly will perform the initial code audit and whether those people stay on the project after the assessment.

6. Reenbit

Reenbit was founded in 2018 by five co-founders and runs its Ukrainian office on Stryiska Street in Lviv, with further offices in Warsaw and Markham, Ontario. The company reports more than 100 engineers and says 89% of its staff hold professional certifications.

Reenbit leans heavily on Microsoft Azure. Co-founders Igor Tabas and Vasyl Magometa are described as .NET and Azure experts, and the firm offers cloud migration, data engineering and business intelligence alongside custom software and AI development. It holds ISO 27001:2022 certification and lists client logos including CloudBooking, SensoScientific, TracoPower and Samvirk, with 73-plus completed projects.

Reenbit describes a flat structure with democratic decision-making. That can be a strength, but ask who has final technical authority on your project and how disagreements over architecture get resolved.

7. Exoft

Exoft has been headquartered in Lviv since 2013, with its office on Shevchenko Street, and it describes itself as a custom software development company with more than 70 engineers. It reports over 500 delivered projects across healthcare, logistics, mobility, finance, construction and energy, including oil and gas.

Exoft is a generalist in the good sense: .NET, Java, Python, Node.js, Angular, React, Vue.js and Flutter are all on its stack list, and its services span application modernization, AI-accelerated product development, team extension, IT support and a startup studio. Case studies on its site include medical information systems, oil rig monitoring software, tax management tools and digital banking, and testimonials come from clients such as Artificial Lift Solutions, The Agora and Bo Edin AB.

A broad stack is useful, but it can hide thin coverage in any one technology. Ask how many senior engineers Exoft has in the specific framework your product depends on.

8. PLVision

PLVision has been building networking software since 2007. Its global headquarters is registered in Krakow, but its development center sits on V. Velykoho Street in Lviv, which is where the engineering happens. The company works for switch silicon vendors, SmartNIC and DPU makers, OEMs and ODMs, and service providers.

This is the most specialized firm on the list. PLVision focuses on open networking: SONiC-based product development and porting, SAI implementation, SONiC-DASH APIs and xPU optimization, and it ships its own products, SONiC Lite and PLVision LTS for SONiC. It is a member of the Linux Foundation, the Telecom Infra Project and the Open Compute Project, and sits on the governing boards of the SONiC and DENT projects. Named clients include Keysight Technologies, Napatech, Antaira and Fungible.

PLVision is not the vendor for a web app or mobile product. If your project is networking-related, ask which upstream SONiC contributions its team has made and whether your custom work would be upstreamed.

9. Incora

Incora lists its address on Bohdana Khmelnytskoho Street in Lviv and has operated since 2015. It says it has more than 100 experts available, 65% of them senior, and offers full-cycle development from MVP to scale, including backend, frontend, DevOps, UI/UX design, QA and AI automation.

Incora’s portfolio skews toward product companies in the US, Europe and Israel. Its site names SmartHome App and LockUp in real estate, BlackBird.AI in misinformation detection, DeepDao in crypto analytics, Anto in France and a project management system for a Geneva client. That mix suggests comfort with startup timelines and changing scope, which suits founders who need a single team to own a product end to end.

Incora does not list certifications by name on its site. If your buyers expect ISO 27001 or SOC 2 from suppliers, ask directly what security framework the company follows and whether it has been independently audited.

10. Uinno

Uinno was founded in 2019 and lists its main Ukrainian office in the Seven-G building on Hazova Street in Lviv, plus a second Ukrainian office in Zaporizhzhia and addresses in Tallinn, Kingston upon Thames, New York and Miami. It covers product discovery, UI/UX design, web and mobile development, AI and ML work, fractional CTO advisory and workflow automation.

For a young company, Uinno has an unusual client list. It names Gatorade (Coach Hub), the University of Melbourne, PlayHQ and Ukraine’s Ministry of Social Policy, and it claims four startup exits, more than 250 clients and 93% retention on long-term projects. Its engineers hold AWS, Azure, Google ML and TensorFlow certifications, and it is a Webflow Certified Partner.

Uinno does not publish its headcount. Given the number of offices listed, ask how many engineers are based in Lviv and how many at each other location, so you know where your team will actually sit.

11. Jappware

Jappware is based on Zarytskykh Street in Lviv, with registered addresses in Dover, Delaware, and Tallinn. It was founded by CEO Andriy Rymar, a Java engineer of about 12 years, and the name still reflects that Java heritage. The company reports more than 50 in-house professionals and over 70 delivered products.

Jappware works mostly as a dedicated team or augmentation partner, and it says it can start within a week. Its client list leans toward European fintech and B2B software: Tillhub, Unzer, SecurityScorecard, YPOG, Vestlane, Heinze and Sightfull. Industry focus covers fintech, e-commerce, legaltech, logistics, insurance and cybersecurity, and it lists AWS and GCP partnerships.

A team of around 50 means each account is visible to leadership, but it also limits how fast Jappware can scale. Ask what happens if you need to double your team within a quarter.

12. LaSoft

LaSoft lists its engineering office on Muchna Street in Lviv, with further offices in Lodz, Zurich and Washington, DC. It describes itself as an outcome-driven software development company building custom web and mobile applications, MVPs, dashboards and AI and ML features, and it also offers software audits.

LaSoft’s industry mix is broad but practical: HR and recruitment, marketing, telecom, insurance, sports and fitness tech, data analytics, edtech and fintech. Client logos on its site include Norconsult, Monaco Telecom, FLIKWEERT, Outsail, Casadesk and Call Criteria, which points to a base of small and mid-sized European and US businesses rather than large enterprises.

LaSoft does not publish its founding year, team size or certifications. Ask for those figures directly, along with two references from projects similar in size to yours, before you sign.

One Check Worth Making: How Lviv’s Role As A Relocation Hub Affects Your Team

Lviv became the main relocation hub for Ukrainian tech after 2022. Engineers and whole teams moved west from Kharkiv, Kyiv and other cities, and many companies already based in Lviv absorbed them. That has made the Lviv software development market larger and more experienced, but it has also changed what a Lviv office actually means.

The first thing to ask is how much of the team you will work with is physically based in Lviv and how much is spread across other Ukrainian cities, Poland or elsewhere. Several firms on this list run a second office in Warsaw, Krakow, Wroclaw, Lodz or Tallinn. That is usually a strength, since it gives the company a way to keep delivering if something disrupts work in Ukraine, but you should know which people sit where and what the handover plan looks like if one location goes offline.

The second question is office resilience. Ask whether the Lviv office has backup power and redundant internet, whether engineers who work from home have their own backup arrangements, and how the company handled delivery during past power outages. A good vendor will answer with specifics, not reassurance. It helps to ask for a short written continuity plan that covers power, connectivity and where work moves if the Lviv office has to close for a day or a week.

Finally, ask about staffing continuity. Like all Ukrainian employers, IT companies in Lviv operate under wartime conditions that can affect individual team members. Ask how the vendor handles unexpected absences, how much documentation and knowledge sharing it enforces, and whether key roles on your project have a named backup. The answers tell you far more about risk than any headline headcount figure.

Conclusion

The strongest Lviv IT companies are not always the biggest ones. The firms profiled here range from Microsoft and AWS partners with enterprise clients to small, focused teams that start in a week, and all of them run real engineering out of Lviv.

Shortlist two or three that match your stack and industry, ask the caution questions from each profile, and compare their answers on team location and continuity. For budget planning, our guide to the cost to hire developers in Ukraine will help you judge whether a quote is realistic.
