Top Shift4Shop 3PL And Fulfillment Companies In 2026

A Shift4Shop 3PL is only as strong as its connector. We separate native API links from app store listings and middleware routes, with pricing where published.

Native Shift4Shop 3PL connectors are thin on the ground. The platform has a long merchant base and a public API, but the warehousing industry was built for Shopify first, leaving Shift4Shop to a few providers who wrote the integration themselves and a larger group reaching it through other people’s software.

So “supports Shift4Shop” can mean three different things: a native API connection the 3PL wrote and maintains, a listing in the Shift4Shop app store that installs from inside the store admin, or a route through middleware such as ShipStation or Extensiv Integration Manager, where the 3PL never touches Shift4Shop and the connector belongs to a third company. All three work, but they fail in different ways and put support responsibility in different places.

Everything below was checked on 14 September 2026 against the provider’s own domain or the Shift4Shop app store. Published rates are quoted. Where the evidence is thinner, or a provider still names 3dcart, that is written in plainly.

Top Shift4Shop 3PL And Fulfillment Companies In 2026

1. Red Stag Fulfillment — A Dedicated Shift4Shop Page, And The Warehouse To Match

Red Stag maintains a dedicated Shift4Shop fulfillment page on its own domain, which most of the market does not. The setup is simple: the merchant supplies an API key, the store connects, and Red Stag’s team will do the work on the merchant’s behalf if asked. The company also holds a Shift4Shop app store listing, so the relationship is visible from both ends.

Three centers back it up: Knoxville, Tennessee at 515,000 square feet, Sweetwater, Tennessee at 700,000 square feet, and Salt Lake City, Utah at 538,000 square feet. Headquarters is Knoxville, and that east-to-west split supports the claim of reaching 96% of the US in one to two days.

The specialism is the part of the market most 3PLs avoid: oversized, heavy and high-value goods, shipped both direct to consumer and business to business. Red Stag guarantees zero mispicks and 100% inventory accuracy, a firmer commitment than the accuracy percentages competitors advertise. Named clients include Lori Beds, Pop-A-Shot and The Original Oatly.

There is no published pricing. Quoting is consultative, which fits a client base full of awkward dimensions.

2. eFulfillment Service — No Minimum Order Volume, And A Published Connector Fee

eFulfillment Service, based in Traverse City, Michigan, runs a shopping cart partner page for 3dCart and Shift4Shop stating that the two companies joined forces to create a custom app the merchant installs from inside the store. It is also in the Shift4Shop app store. A purpose-built app is stronger evidence than a logo on an integrations grid, since it implies maintenance.

This entry carries a detail nobody else publishes. There are no setup fees for the basic integration, and there is a $199 one time fee, charged by Shift4Shop rather than by eFulfillment Service, for the advanced two way integration that enables tracking and inventory retrieval.

The commercial terms are equally direct. The company explicitly states no minimum order volume requirements, the only provider here to rule out a floor outright. Account management is a flat fee with unlimited client contact, and storage is billed only on space actually used rather than a reserved footprint.

It has 25 years in service, is family owned, and concentrates in apparel, beauty and supplements. For a small or seasonal store, the absent volume floor is often decisive.

3. Fulfillrite — Twenty Million Orders And Thousands Of Crowdfunding Campaigns

Fulfillrite operates from Lakewood, New Jersey, with a second center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Shift4Shop is named on the company’s own integrations page among roughly 23 integrations, and Fulfillrite also holds a Shift4Shop app store listing. Two centers on opposite coasts is a modest footprint, but it is the standard configuration for split-inventory two-day coverage without paying for a national network.

The specialism mix is distinctive: crowdfunding, subscription boxes, kitting and assembly, FBA prep, repack and refurbishing, and freight and customs. Crowdfunding is a discipline of its own, because a campaign arrives as one enormous wave of orders with backer data that does not resemble normal ecommerce traffic, and most warehouses are not built to absorb that.

The company was founded in October 2010 and claims more than 20.2 million orders shipped, more than 3,500 Kickstarter campaigns, more than 2,600 clients and 99.8% order accuracy. Named clients include Arduino, Particle, Zip Top and IL Makiage, a spread across hardware and beauty.

Pricing is by custom quote only. Given the range of services on offer that is unsurprising, but budgeting still requires a conversation.

4. Simpl Fulfillment — Seven Dollars An Order, Postage And Packaging Included

Simpl Fulfillment runs a single center in Austin, Texas, and publishes a 3dcart integration page more technically specific than most. It describes connecting through the public API and covers order and inventory sync, real-time order webhooks, per pick inventory delta sync, tracking written back on label print, and RMA management. Per pick delta sync matters: stock moves as each unit is picked rather than in a batch at end of day.

The pricing is the headline. Simpl publishes a flat $7 per order inclusive of pick, pack, postage and packaging, with no setup fee and no peak storage surcharge, and states the price holds from 50 orders a month to more than 5,000. All-in pricing is rare in fulfillment because postage varies with weight and zone, so this model suits light, small parcels and penalizes heavy ones.

Simpl has been operating since 2016 and works to a 12 pm CST same-day cutoff. It puts API key setup at around ten minutes and full onboarding at five to seven days.

The single location is the real constraint: good central coverage, weaker coastal transit times.

5. SHIPHYPE — Five Centers Across Canada And The US, With A Volume Floor

SHIPHYPE is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, and maintains two relevant pages, a dedicated 3PL for Shift4Shop page and a combined 3dcart page, both stating that a direct connection is supported for order and inventory synchronization. Publishing under both names is a small signal of maintenance after the platform rebrand.

The network spans five centers: Toronto, Ontario; Vancouver, British Columbia; Los Angeles, California; Secaucus, New Jersey; and Dallas, Texas, opening in the fourth quarter of 2026. That cross border spread is the reason to shortlist SHIPHYPE, since a merchant selling into both countries otherwise runs two vendors and two inventory pools.

Both price and minimum are published, which is unusual. Pick and pack starts at $1.17 per order, but there is a $999 per month account management fee for accounts under 500 orders a month, waived at 500 and above, and the company says it targets brands shipping more than 1,000 orders a month. The headline rate only really applies past the floor.

Picking is scan enforced, targeting accuracy above 99.8%, with a 2pm same day cutoff and bundles and kitting called out alongside cross border work.

6. ShipMonk — Nine Centers On Three Continents

ShipMonk, headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, names Shift4Shop on its integrations page among 30 shopping cart integrations, alongside AmeriCommerce, Cratejoy, Miva, Volusion and Zoey. The evidence deserves precision: ShipMonk is not in the Shift4Shop app store, so this rests on the company’s own site rather than a listed, installable app. Confirm the connection method during the sales process rather than assuming it behaves like an install.

What ShipMonk offers that nobody else here does is geographic reach. Nine centers span Fort Lauderdale, Florida; two in Las Vegas, Nevada; Dallas Fort Worth, Texas; two in Pittston, Pennsylvania; two in Louisville, Kentucky; Brampton, Ontario; Cheb in the Czech Republic; and Coalville in the United Kingdom. That is the largest multinational footprint of any qualifying provider here.

For a merchant with genuine European demand, this is the obvious starting point: the alternative is a separate European 3PL and two systems. Services cover direct-to-consumer, subscription boxes, business-to-business, retail, and FBA prep.

Pricing is not published on these pages, so expect a quote-led process shaped by storage profile and order mix.

7. Buske Logistics — A Century-Old Warehouse Operation With A Real Time API

Buske Logistics is an Illinois-based warehousing company whose partner page for 3dcart and Shift4Shop states that orders, tracking numbers and inventory updates flow between the store and the fulfillment system in real time over an API based integration. That is the vocabulary of a native connector rather than a nightly batch, notable for a company whose core business predates ecommerce.

Scale is the point. Buske has been in business for over 100 years and, on its own blog, reports being ranked the 42nd largest US warehousing company in 2025. It is private equity-backed by Fourshore Partners and has been acquiring actively, taking on Hydra Warehouse in 2024 and Strategic Warehousing in 2025.

That makes it the heaviest business-to-business and retail distribution option here. If your store is the smaller channel next to wholesale, retail compliance and palletized freight, a warehousing company with a working store connector is a different proposition from a parcel-first startup.

The trade is disclosure. The partner page publishes no center count, describing the network only as strategically located across the United States, and there is no published pricing or minimum.

8. Jay Group — The Deepest Field Mapping, Down To Gift Messages

Jay Group, based in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, publishes a Shift4Shop order fulfillment page documenting the most detailed connector feature set of any provider here: order retrieval, inventory sync, shipping status updates, tracking number updates, coupon code retrieval, gift message retrieval, real time shipping rating, and address verification on import.

Two of those deserve emphasis because they are the ones that break. Gift message retrieval means personalization written at checkout survives into the warehouse instead of being silently dropped, the failure mode that turns a holiday order into a support ticket. Address verification on import catches bad addresses before a label is bought rather than after a parcel has crossed the country.

The network is two centers, Lancaster, Pennsylvania and Reno, Nevada, giving dual coast coverage, and the company states that more than 78% of the United States is reachable within three days on ground shipping from Lancaster. Jay Group is third-generation family-owned.

Specialisms run across direct-to-consumer, retail and business-to-business, with gifting called out explicitly, consistent with a connector that pays attention to messages and codes. Pricing is not published.

9. ShipCalm — Two Owned Centers And A Client List Led By Dr Squatch

ShipCalm carries a San Francisco, California corporate address and operates two owned centers, in Los Angeles, California and Indianapolis, Indiana. Owning rather than subcontracting the buildings is a real differentiator in a category where much capacity is brokered.

The evidence for platform support needs stating plainly. ShipCalm’s partners page names 3dcart under online shopping carts, not Shift4Shop. That wording suggests the integration list predates the rebrand, and it is worth a merchant confirming the current state of the connector before signing. It is not a reason to discount the company, but it is a question for the first call rather than the last.

The site claims 355 total integrations, and the specialism list is broad: omnichannel, subscription boxes, FBA prep and crowdfunding, with vertical experience in beauty, food and beverage, apparel, supplements and healthcare. Named clients include Dr Squatch, Bioharvest Sciences and Old Guard Pet Company.

Founded around 2021, ShipCalm is the youngest operation here by a wide margin. Pricing runs through a calculator rather than a published rate card, which sits somewhere between full transparency and a closed quote.

10. We Fulfill It — Hazmat Certified, With Published Rates

We Fulfill It operates a single center in Toledo, Ohio, at 302 S. Byrne Road, Building 401. It lists “3d Cart” among more than 100 integrated platforms on its own site and holds a live Shift4Shop app store listing, so the app route is available even though the site still uses the older platform name.

The company publishes rates, which is rare here. It gives a worked example of roughly $1,350 a month for 500 orders, built from fulfillment at $2.50 an order plus storage, with volume discounts above 200 packages a month. There are no minimum order commitments and no long term contracts, and it serves merchants shipping from 50 to more than 5,000 orders a month.

The certification profile is the other draw: hazmat, IATA and ICAO certified, with FBA prep, kitting and bundling, returns, product photography, custom packaging and call center support.

Established in 1982 and fulfilling since 2004, it claims 99% of orders received by 2pm EST ship the same day, retention above 94%, more than 65 ecommerce brands, and OSHA, BBB A+ and PCI DSS Level 1 credentials.

How To Choose A Shift4Shop 3PL

Is The Integration Native, An App, Or Middleware?

This question changes everything downstream. A native API connection means the 3PL wrote and maintains the code that talks to your store. Red Stag, Simpl Fulfillment, Buske Logistics, Jay Group, SHIPHYPE and Streamline Fulfillment all describe connections of this kind. The advantage is one vendor to call when orders stop flowing. The risk is that such a connector is only as current as that company’s engineering priorities, which is why a page still naming 3dcart is worth noticing.

An app store listing means the connector installs from inside your Shift4Shop admin. Red Stag, eFulfillment Service, Fulfillrite, We Fulfill It and ShipNetwork all have listings. This is the most merchant-friendly route: installation does not need a support ticket, and a listing has to be maintained to stay live. Some providers appear on both lists, the strongest position of all.

Middleware is how most of the wider market reaches Shift4Shop. The 3PL never integrates with your store at all: a third product sits in between, pulling orders and pushing tracking back. That is not second class, and is sometimes more robust than a bespoke connector, but it adds a company to the support chain and an invoice.

What Does The Middleware Layer Actually Do?

Middleware is the part of this market merchants understand least and depend on most, so it is worth walking through the real options.

ShipStation is the most widely used route. It has a full native Shift4Shop store connection, documented in its own help center with setup instructions, a feature support matrix, order status mapping and shipment notification specifications. The documentation matters: a feature matrix tells you in advance which fields sync, rather than leaving you to discover a gap during peak season. ShipStation is also in the Shift4Shop app store, priced from $9.99 to $229.99 a month depending on tier. Where a 3PL works out of a ShipStation account, this is often the cleanest arrangement, because the store connection is a product with a support team behind it.

Extensiv Integration Manager, formerly CartRover, is the biggest 3PL-specific route. Its Shift4Shop and 3dcart connector downloads sales orders and pushes tracking back, then fans out to more than 40 destinations including Red Stag, ShipHero, Shipedge, Bergen Logistics, Moulton Logistics and Flowspace, plus warehouse systems including Extensiv 3PL Warehouse Manager, Logiwa and SnapFulfil. Extensiv claims more than 110 ecommerce platforms, more than 80 EDI retail partners and more than 90 warehouse systems. In practice, if your preferred 3PL runs on one of those warehouse systems, a Shift4Shop connection exists whether or not the 3PL advertises one.

Order Desk, PackageBee and ShippingEasy are the other established routes, and PackageBee’s Shift4Shop app store listing is purpose built for this job. Shippo, by contrast, has no native Shift4Shop connector, so it is not a substitute. ShipBob illustrates how common the pattern is among large providers: its own documentation routes Shift4Shop through layers such as ShipStation and OrderDesk rather than a direct connection.

Two practical points follow. Ask who pays for the middleware and who owns the account, because a 3PL running the connection on its own Extensiv instance controls your order data flow. Then ask whose support queue you land in when a sync fails at 2am on Black Friday. A native connector gives one number to call. A middleware chain can give three.

What Is The Real Minimum Order Volume?

Minimums are where quoted prices stop matching invoices, and several providers publish theirs. eFulfillment Service states no minimum order volume requirements at all. We Fulfill It states no minimum commitment and no long term contract, serving from 50 orders a month upward. Streamline Fulfillment wants at least 100 orders a month. SHIPHYPE charges $999 a month under 500 orders, waived above that, and targets brands shipping more than 1,000.

Run the arithmetic first. At 300 orders a month, a $999 fee alone adds more than $3 to every order before anything is picked. At 800 orders it disappears. Providers publishing no minimum usually still have one in the contract, so ask for it in writing.

Can You Actually Compare Prices?

Mostly you cannot, and that is the honest answer. Only three providers here publish rates. Simpl Fulfillment lists $7 per order inclusive of pick, pack, postage and packaging, flat from 50 to more than 5,000 orders a month. SHIPHYPE publishes pick and pack from $1.17 an order with the $999 monthly floor attached. We Fulfill It publishes about $2.50 an order plus storage, with a worked example near $1,350 a month at 500 orders.

These are not comparable numbers. Simpl’s $7 includes postage, normally the largest single line on a fulfillment invoice. The other two do not, so a like-for-like comparison means adding estimated postage and storage using your own weight and zone profile. Everyone else quotes, and a quote request should specify average order weight, SKU count, units per order, storage footprint and seasonality, or it will be revised later.

Do You Need Cold Chain, Hazmat Or Oversized Handling?

Special handling narrows the field fast, so use it as the first filter. For temperature controlled and cold chain storage, ShipNetwork is the only provider here covering it properly, with lot tracking alongside. For hazmat, both We Fulfill It and ShipNetwork carry certification, with We Fulfill It also holding IATA and ICAO credentials for air. For heavy, oversized and high value items, Red Stag is built around that profile and guarantees inventory accuracy in a way general-purpose warehouses do not.

If none apply, the decision returns to integration route, minimums and coverage. If one does, treat it as a hard requirement. Where the connector needs custom work to fit your order data, our roundup of Shift4Shop experts and development agencies are the places to start.

Conclusion

Fulfillment on Shift4Shop is solvable, but it is solved differently than on larger platforms. The providers worth your time either wrote a native connector, maintain an app store listing, or are reachable through ShipStation, Extensiv Integration Manager, Order Desk or PackageBee. No route is automatically better. What matters is knowing which one you are buying, who maintains it, and who answers the phone when it breaks.

Filter first on special handling, since cold chain, hazmat and oversized requirements eliminate most candidates outright. Filter second on minimums, because a monthly account fee can dominate unit economics at low volume. Filter third on coverage, matching warehouses to where your customers are rather than to a reach percentage. Compare rates last, after normalizing for whether postage and storage are included.

Ask every shortlisted provider the same three questions in writing: the integration route, the total monthly cost at your volume including account fees and storage, and the support path when a sync fails.
